History

We are greatly indebted to praise and glorify our great Lord who according to the abundance of His grace and will has given us the wonderful privilege to include the history of the Baptist Youth fellowship which forms part of the history of the Church in BYF blogspot as a record of reference for the future generations, as also a model to inspire the young people for the glory of His great name.

Our Church was established with prayer and devotion in the year 1880 with few of our forefathers and early missionaries and this has flourished for the glory of Lord, growing day by day, in the Deccan region. In the Church, we had Sunday School and Women's Association meetings, which were being conducted regularly but when the children who had their initial training in Sunday School grew into youthfulness, there was no organised establishment recognizable in the Church to meet their needs.

The Youth Fellowship, through the grace of Jesus Christ has been progressing day by day employing their God given power, aptitude and talents in all the Church activities during the last 50 years in the recorded Church History and during this period 7 to 8 batches have completed their training.
