It has been a decade since Reflection, the monthly news bulletin of Baptist Youth Fellowship has touched many lives and transformed them into the image of Christ and reflecting Christ to others. This is purely the plan of God in the expansion of the youth ministry of Centenary Baptist Church, Hanamkonda which has a great history of more than five decades. The fervent prayers and solid foundation of the pioneers have paved a path for the successful beginning and continuation of various projects in the Church among which are Rural Evangelism, Rural Youth Retreats, Youth Sunday, and Reflection etc.
This news bulletin was birthed and published through prayers only. Under the able leadership of Mr.M.Y. Joseph, the then Youth director and the then youth leaders and senior members- Mr. P. Philips, Mr. P. Methuselah, Mr. T. Barnabas Louis, Mr. O. Praveen Kumar, Mr. T. Paul, Mr. H. Bunny Charles, Mr. S. Sudin, Mr. T. Prasad, Ms. G. Esther, Ms. G. Beulah, Ms. P. Shirisha, Ms. P. Karuna and many others have prayerfully come forward with a plan to reach out the youth of our Church who are proceeding to other places for better or higher education and also the hostelers who are studying in various colleges in Warangal through a monthly periodical or letter or journal. Putting this plan in prayer and in consultation with the Pastor Rev. Dr. G. J. Niranjan Babu, the title "REFLECTION" was named for the monthly news bulletin of BYF with concept that the youth will and should be true reflections of Jesus Christ in this world. The first issue was released on 15.8.2004 (Sunday) in the worship service by one of the pioneer BYF member late Mr. D. Victor Eliazer. The succeeding Youth Directors and the youth leaders have contributed their effortless services in publishing the news bulletin every month.
